I recently came across a passage from A Course in Miracles called “The Forgotten Song.”

Listen, perhaps you catch a hint of an ancient state not quite forgotten; dim, perhaps, and yet not altogether unfamiliar, like a song whose name is long forgotten, and the circumstances in which you heard completely unremembered. Not the whole song has stayed with you, but just a little wisp of melody, attached not to a person or a place or anything particular. But you remember, from just this little part, how lovely was the song, how wonderful the setting where you heard it, and how you loved those who were there and listened with you.

What is your forgotten song? Do you remember it?

Here are simple healing habits to get you in touch with your forgotten song:

  • Journaling for release and reflection
  • Gratitude practice
  • Trusting in a Divine Plan
  • Breathing exercises
  • Taking cold showers
  • Nourishing your body with nutrient-dense food, water, sunlight, and exercise
  • Deepening your knowledge with a book or podcast

We need each other to remember our forgotten song. The entire world went into lockdown over one year ago. It’s more important than ever now that we sing our song.

Give yourself permission to do the things that make you feel good and to reconnect you with your forgotten song.

Sing your song! If you need help reconnecting to your Higher Power to find your song, reach out to me.

By singing your song, you never know who you’re helping to sing their song too.

Join me every Saturday on Clubhouse at 10:30am SGT for conversation around healthy eating, mindset, and holistic health.
