Whether it’s better health, happier relationships, a loving life partner, more money, or a job, we all want something in life.

As we continue to dream, we must plant the seeds of manifestation, and focus on our next “right step.” We must do what we can to create what we want to experience in the world because the world is not something happening to us. We are an active participant in it. 

The key to manifesting is aligning the mind with the heart. Here’s a short and powerful manifestation process to help you get into “the zone.”

1.     Move the Awareness to Your Heart
Close your eyes. Shift out of your head. Out of your brain. And into your heart. Into the center of your heart. When we shift our attention from the outside world to our inner world, it indicates to our body that something is going to occur.

2.     Slow Down Your Breathing
Focus on a 6-second inhale and a 6-second exhale. Deep, slow, relaxed breathing sends a signal to our body. It indicates to our nervous system that we are safe and no longer need to be vigilant in scanning our environment for danger.

3.     Prayer Mudra
A “mudra” is a hand gesture that has the power of producing joy and happiness. The position of our hands has the ability to influence energy of our physical, emotional and spiritual body. Mudras help to link the brain to the body, soothe pain, stimulate endorphins, change the mood, and increase our vitality.

Place your hands together, palms lightly pressing into each other in a prayer posture, at the center of your chest.

Pressing these pressure points on the hands literally rebalances the left and right hemispheres of the brain and our mind unifies with our heart, body, and spirit. This mudra is scientifically proven to activate the parasympathetic nervous system, which in turn awakens our body’s natural healing mechanisms, and lowers stress.

As you touch your heart with your hands, your attention will continue to be drawn to the energy center of your heart.

4.     Feel the Feelings in Your Heart
Feel the feelings of gratitude, appreciation, care, and compassion. Give gratitude for what has already happened in your life. Give gratitude for the valuable people, circumstances, and things in your life. Be an appreciator in your life.

As we go through these steps, we are bringing the heart and the brain into coherence and harmonizing them. Once we are in this super powerful space, the door is open for manifestation.

Now begin with the end in mind. See yourself surrounded by the people, conditions, events, and things that you would like to have. How would you feel right now if what you wanted to manifest was already present? What is the next “right step” for you to take to manifest your vision?

A gentle note about manifesting: It is beneficial to practice non-attachment to the outcomes of our actions. So often in life, we can tend to the causes, but we cannot control the outcomes. When we relax our attachment to results, we worry less about them happening, and also suffer less it they don’t.

We surrender the outcomes to God, for He is the sole source of all creation. And the manifestation of God/the Universe/Higher Power/Source/Source Energy/Creation will be different for different people based on their beliefs. All we need to do is to surrender to the knowing of a Presence, a Love, or a Consciousness beyond our own.

This is your starting point. Take comfort in the fact that you are an active participant in your life experiences and that you have the power to accept, surrender, and grow. When we live like this, we have nothing left to worry about. We trust that the Universe is a benevolent place and has our back.
