I use a holistic approach to healing.
I am an internationally renowned Ayurvedic clinician, meditation teacher, nutritionist,
energy healer, and motivational speaker, who employs diet, herbs, yoga therapy, meditation,
and Ayurvedic treatment to restore my patients’ mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual
health and to prevent disease and disorders.
In particular, I focus on healing trauma, which often leads to anxiety, depression, feelings of loss, low self-esteem, cravings, addiction, and PTSD.
Along with my individual health coaching services, I am often invited to deliver month-long corporate wellness workshops and programs to leading global organizations. I also enjoy facilitating meditation and yoga workshops at schools to incorporate wellness education into their curriculum. I am also a leading practitioner on Mindvalley’s app, a global healing and meditation collective, where my meditations have helped many people around the world. In 2020, I was honored by an invitation to be part of a panel hosted by His Holiness The Dalai Lama on the topic of integrated healthcare and compassion.
I am frequently invited to speak at international summits and conferences about how Ayurveda helps to heal trauma as well as a multitude of physical and mental ailments, and aids in stress management.
I have explored different types of meditation including body-mind meditation, visual meditation, sound meditation, energy meditation, Sufi meditation, Buddhist meditation, Tibetan Buddhist meditation, mantra meditation, and chanting meditation.
I was raised mainly in the United States and come from a mixed heritage background. My early career spanned modelling, acting, television, radio, and journalism before I entered academia and became a Professor in Communications to teach and research religious harmony across various interpersonal, organizational, and intercultural contexts.
I possess nearly 30 years experience with the world’s ancient traditions and religions. This enables me to teach both non-religious meditations and religion-based meditations alike.
I believe strongly that it is imperative to meditate, even in the good times, to build a silo of resilience so that when we are faced with challenges, we are not running on empty and are able to bounce back more quickly.
I am trained and certified in the Ayurveda Sciences at Union Yoga Ayurveda, affiliated with Atreya Ayurvedic Medical College and the Indian Institute of Patanjali Yoga, associated with Swami Paramahansa Samsthana, and a registered member of the National Ayurvedic Medical Association, USA.
Zeeba Khan is a fabulous Ayurveda clinician and consultant who has been part of the Union Yoga Ayurveda school and clinic since 2016. She blends ancient philosophy and science into one and brings the best of different cultures and makes it applicable to modern life. I mentor my students to spread the benefits of yoga and its sister science, Ayurveda, to society. Every Ayurveda expert has strengths and weaknesses, Zeeba only has strengths and better perspectives.
Zeeba is a caring, compassionate, and wonderful practitioner, with unparalleled listening skills. She is a master of understanding the underlying motivation and desires of her clients and seamlessly uses Ayurvedic clinical practice to guide her clients towards optimal health. I truly enjoy every minute working with Zeeba and collaborating with her on patient care as she genuinely cares about helping her clients progress and overcome their challenges.
